Worship Help for Today

We hope this would help English-spoken brothers and sisters to worship God. This is a summary of the message for today.

Matt. 18:18~20

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. KJV

Here Jesus promised us things in big 3 principles.

First, you have authority to bind and loose anything. Most Christians don't understand what in the world this means. Jesus didn't mean by it that the Roman Catholic popes who have claimed they have succeeded Peter, have the authority to rule over the church! You see, they and the Anglican church have this huge key in their symbols.
Nope, Jesus didn't mean it - not a bit.

You, as a born-again believer, have this authority to bind and loose, PERIOD. That is to bind evil forces or a single demon and to loose good spirits who are the angels and heavenly hosts rather than other spirits.
Also you can loosen the demon-oppressed who are in depression, diseases and sickness, setting them free in his name. That's what Jesus meant.

Then, the second thing Jesus promised here: You can agree with a companion in prayer on something. Or to claim and command something. Jesus simply said the two are to AGREE on WHATEVER. Agreement in faith and in his name is that mighty important. And the simple word 'whatever' is the hard part for a regular Christian to swallow.
Jesus simply meant W-H-A-T-E-V-E-R.

Similar WHATEVER verses: Jn. 14:13,14, 15:7, 16b, 16:23b, Matt 21;22, Mark 11:22. Amazing, isn't it? He repeats WHATEVER over and over and over..again! So then, He means it: just whatever.

Thirdly and lastly, He promised whenever two or three gather in his name, He is there. That's a church. Most of early churches began like that.
You can make a church out of your 2 or 3 friends. Just gather in his name. Well, this doesn't mean to escape from the church you are attending presently. That's a church, too.

We pray that whatever you ask the Lord be fulfilled.
He is faithful in his Word.
May God enrich you in every way and everything.
Amen

Love

Captain
